An adventurous trip

I just got back from a week-ish long trip to California. I had a great time, especially because I got to meet up with not one, but two author friends! It was a wonderful treat. First, I got to see the fabulous T. Damon…

I actually went to college with T., many, many years ago (Okay, maybe not that many, haha), but I hadn’t seen her in person since we graduated. It was so much fun to see her again, especially now that we’re both authors and could talk about all that fun writerly goodness. She actually told me about her upcoming novel Anthropoidea, and it sounds great! I can’t wait to read it myself. And I can’t wait to see T. again!

The next day, I was super lucky to also see the lovely Jess R. Sutton! And let me tell you, we had a great adventure—after a delicious lunch, I reached into my purse and discovered that my car keys were not there. I’d locked them in my car, which was parked in a 90 minute spot that had already exceeded its 90 minutes by the time I discovered the key situation. An exciting time ensued, involving rain, AAA, and my entire extended family. And amazingly, Jess didn’t disown me afterwards! It was a fun afternoon XD

You may have noticed that both these authors were featured in Perchance to Dream. I noticed this, too, and I may have brought a few copies of PTD for them to sign! Keep an eye on this space—I’m planning something fun with those copies very soon!

Anyway, it was a very fun but also quite hectic week. I only just got home a few hours ago and I’m pretty comatose. I’ll have more for you all soon!
