I’m the sort of person who gets a little intense over the holidays. Almost every holiday, actually. I love decorating the house for the different seasons, making crafts and finding cutesy wreaths and rugs and window clings and other kitschy ways to show my holiday spirit, be it Halloween or the Fourth of July. And after the doozy that was November, as Angela Lansbury sang in Mame, I need a little Christmas NOW!
And I feel like maybe other people might need the same thing. Regardless of your political stripes, I know the stress and anger has been affecting everyone. It seems like a good time to take a step back and let some fun in. So I’ve decided to sprinkle a little stardust on you all with Holiday Cheer Time, a fun challenge for the month of December! If you celebrate holidays at this time of year, be they Christmas, Hanukkah, Yule or Decemberween, I hope you have the happiest of seasons!
Throughout the month, I’ll be posting here, on Facebook and on Instagram, sharing holiday traditions, crafting projects, recipes and more! I also want to hear from YOU—what are some of your favorite holiday traditions? I will be sharing the best ones from across social media later in the month!
