Once Upon a Rhyme is out today! + Special Edition giveaway!
Today’s the day: Once Upon a Rhyme, the anthology of original stories inspired by nursery rhymes that I edited, is available now in ebook and paperback!
Once upon a time, there were rhymes.
Nursery rhymes have been a part of childhood around the world for as long as we can remember, passed down through generations. But what if we could see them in a new light? What if we could explore them from a different perspective, or in a time and place we never expected?
In ONCE UPON A RHYME, twelve young adult authors reimagine the verses we thought we knew for a brand-new audience. Whether it’s an enchanted rainstorm portending an unwelcome gift, a collapsing sky-bridge over a world cast in darkness, or a magic horn that causes mischief and mayhem, each fantastical tale offers a fresh perspective on the songs and poems we’ve heard a thousand times.
What happens when old rhymes are brought to life in new ways? The stories in these pages are just the beginning of the answer.
By popular request, a special edition hardcover is also available for anyone who may be interested. This edition features metallic foil on the jacket, sprayed edges, and custom endpapers. You can get it here!
Or, you can enter to win it! To celebrate Snowy Wings Publishing’s 10th Anniversary, we are running a huge giveaway for the month of October. There are two grand prizes available: a bundle of fantasy books, and a bundle of sci-fi books. If you enter to win the sci-fi bundle, I’m giving away a copy of the special edition of Once Upon a Rhyme!
(The anthology actually has a mix of sci-fi AND fantasy stories. More fantasy than sci-fi, in fact. But we needed to make the prize bundles even! 😂) This prize also includes a paperback of the anniversary edition of Fourth World (with Different Worlds printed in the back), so I hope you’ll check that out if you’re interested.
