We’re just a couple of days away from the official release of Perchance to Dream, and I’m so incredibly happy with the reception the book has gotten so far! The biggest shock of all was logging onto Amazon on Friday and seeing this:

 

That’s right! Perchance to Dream was the #1 New Release in our category on Amazon! It managed to hold that slot pretty consistently for almost two days, too, so I’m extremely excited and proud. All the authors in the book did an amazing job and I feel so privileged to have worked with them. 🙂

If you’d like to know more about the individual stories, I’ve been posting visual teasers over on my Tumblr account. There’s been one posted a day, and the last one will be posting at noon (Pacific time) tomorrow.

In other news:

• I have a short non-fiction piece in a new collection, Aces, edited by Austin Triggs. My story deals with discovering my identity as asexual and my coming-out experience.

• Now that PTD is done, I am able to get back to the thing I really love, writing. I’m spending July using Camp Nanowrimo to finish up work on Fourth World and getting it ready for publication this fall. I’m also working on a few other hush-hush writing projects, which I hope I will be able to share with you soon.

• Speaking of Fourth World, I’m in the process of booking my cover photoshoot through Mosaic Stock Photography. It was really important to me to get models that look like my characters for these covers, and I know Elise Marion and her team are going to nail it. I can’t believe it’s actually happening! Everything is feeling more and more real the closer we get to publication! 😀
